The Brief
A restaurant built to move between registers — street-level and rooftop, day and night, glamour and ease. Across the facade, bar, dining room, and terrace, the language stays consistent: warm materials, jewel-toned velvet, and brass that catches the light. Every space is composed to hold its own mood while still reading as one continuous world.
Exterior Facade & Outdoor Seating
A glass-walled corner facade brings quiet architectural confidence to the streetscape, its blackened steel mullions framing floor-to-ceiling windows that dissolve the line between sidewalk and dining room. Vertical wood cladding at the entry warms the material palette, while a shaded pergola with hanging glass pendants extends the interior atmosphere outward, sheltering al fresco seating beneath a soft canopy of light. Dense planting — olive trees, agave, and layered greenery in oversized concrete planters — softens the structure's clean geometry and anchors the space to its Southern California setting.
The bar — a centerpiece in brass and velvet
Interior Dining Room
A vaulted, slatted-wood ceiling draws the eye upward, its warm tone amplified by hidden cove lighting that traces the roofline. Below, deep emerald and navy velvet banquettes curve through the room in soft, continuous forms, paired with a hand-painted botanical mural that brings an organic, artisanal layer to the space. Brass-framed lighting fixtures and a sculptural floral centerpiece punctuate the sightline toward the glazed facade, where the dining room opens visually to the street and sky beyond.
Rooftop Terrace
Perched above the city, the rooftop terrace pairs relaxed material honesty — teak seating, woven textures, poured concrete flooring — with a canopy of string lights and mature olive trees that frame sweeping views of the Los Angeles skyline. Freestanding heaters and a timber pergola extend the space's usability into the evening, while low, layered planting keeps the eye at a human scale even as the horizon opens up beyond the railing. The result is an outdoor room that feels both intimate and expansive.
